Designing an Urban Hospitality Brand
Our collaboration with Novus City Hotel began several years ago, at the moment when “the centre of Athens gained colour,” as the opening invitation we designed for the hotel once described it. From the very early stages, we were actively involved in shaping the hotel’s concept and interior character, contributing to the creation of a contemporary four-star destination in the Metaxourgeio district.
Building on this foundation, we undertook the development of a comprehensive brand identity, designed to express an urban, modern and colourful hospitality experience. Our role was to translate the hotel’s spirit into a cohesive visual language that feels confident, approachable and distinctly rooted in the city.

Colour as a Core Brand Element
One of the defining characteristics of Novus City Hotel is its expressive use of colour. This became a central pillar of the brand identity and informed every design decision that followed.
We embraced colour as a storytelling tool, allowing it to shape an abstract yet bold visual system across printed and digital materials. Menus, room information, hotel guides and guest-facing collateral were designed to greet visitors with clarity, energy and character, reinforcing the hotel’s vibrant personality from the very first interaction.

Extending the Brand Across Touchpoints
Our work on Novus City Hotel extended well beyond a static identity. We developed a wide range of brand applications including stationery, signage, internal and external communication materials, promotional assets and advertising, ensuring consistency across every guest-facing and operational touchpoint.
Art direction for photography and visual content supported the brand’s expression across digital and printed media, while our ongoing involvement in the design and management of the hotel’s social media helped the identity remain fresh, relevant and aligned with its original values: urban, stylish, essential. This long-term partnership has allowed the brand to continue evolving organically, responding to new needs while maintaining a clear and confident visual language.


A Digital Experience to Match Guest Expectations
The most recent chapter of this ongoing collaboration is the redesign of the Novus City Hotel website. Conceived as a natural extension of the brand, the new website brings together visual identity, photography and carefully crafted copy to reflect the hotel experience in a clear and engaging way.
Emphasis was placed on usability, storytelling and atmosphere, allowing visitors to explore the hotel’s spaces, location and amenities with ease. In a competitive hospitality landscape, the website plays a key role in positioning Novus City Hotel as a contemporary, four-star urban destination, ensuring that the digital experience feels as considered and welcoming as the stay itself.
